Welcome to the nation's #1 traditional black quartet gospel music Netcast "Quartet Radio". What is a Netcast? Well, a netcast is simply the equivalent to a radio program that is broadcast over the internet. Unlike a radio program, Netcasts can be heard all over the world wherever an internet connection is found. Quartet Radio.com is proud to be the only actively updated all quartet gospel program in existence. Songs are added to the database weekly.
Presented by Quartet historian and critic Rev. Donnie Addison, this website is already breaking new ground. Known as the first Quartet Netcaster in history, Rev. Addison has brought his special ability to mix the quartet genre's past and present sounds. With gospel radio now being dominated by Contemporary choirs and soloists, the Quartets have been pushed to the back. Many radio stations refuse to play Quartet Gospel, the roots of the gospel genre. This website shows that Quartet Groups still have a place in radio. In fact, according to Quartet Radio.com black quartet groups have 1st place.
So what's so special about this Netcast? The Quartet Radio program gives you the listener a first hand look into the collection of one of the nation's only African-American Quartet music historians. With a collection that boasts thousands of pieces you are guaranteed to hear a unique mixture of well known classics and one of a kind recordings. Simply put, there are songs on Quartet Radio you just won't hear anywhere else. Please use the navigational buttons found at the top of the page to browse the site and most importantly enjoy the program.
